how i live

so its obvious

it sounds like a dumb fucking question

but its not really a dumb fucking question

what i mean here is how i spend my time with what types of tasks, ...

shit like that

i used to be addicted to youtube (and other social medias, mostly youtube), so i know how it feels to be extremely stimulated in every moment. it sucks

i knew and consumed too much, now every thing around becomes boring

it affected my productivity too, once you are stimulated during a period of time (usually in the morning, then the whole day u feel bad), u cant never go back

**directing your attntion toward the most important object of your choosing, and then sustaining that attention, is the most consequential decision we will make throughout the day. *We are what we pay attention to**

and that consequential decision is usually in the morning, when your mind is most refreshed

thats why i always avoid instant gratification in the morning and keep it simple:

-wake up

-brush teeth

-eat breakfast

+read a book

+listen to podcast or just look into grass (ilovethatbitch)

-do whatever next

distractions

alright, lets talk distractions

there are two main types of distraction (internal and external), and the most distracting ones are external distractions

Examples of external distractions

-noti from your phone

-yt feed

-...

solutions

step 1: limit your consumtion

for me it's like

-discord (for catching up with friends)

i do have a facebook account but i dont use it very much and i dont even remember the password

so delete your instagram or titktok acc if its not needed

most of this is just the content of my last blog my laptop digital setup, so just check it out

but for example, u need certain platforms to work or study with (youtube as an example, which has lots of beneficial and educational videos), i would highly recommend browser extension

news feed eradicator

this extension replaces your feed with a quote, leaving u with the search bar to search for anything specific

step 2: enable grayscale

imagine you are looking at a masterpiece of art, and suddenly it becomes black and white, lack of color makes you boring and leave

well that applies to screens too

thats why enabling grayscale mode is essential

furthermore

people are still relunctant of taking on this challenge because they are scared of missing out.

This is called FOMO

which stands for fear of missing out

at first i felt like this too, but by going on, i started to get loose of it and focus on the more important parts of everything else

yeah i thinks thats it, keep practicing ig
